Read Along with SideNote

Learning to read is just a click away! Watch and enjoy our series of FREE literacy videos for children aged 2-10. Our narrators read bestselling and award winning children's books out loud and combine them with some fun animations, so you can read the classics and learn some great lessons at the same time.

Each series tells stories with a new theme- from winter, to overcoming adversity, and taking care of yourself. So read along with us and enjoy virtual theatre at it's finest!

Our third series is available to view NOW

We've released eleven new videos with four new actors, a Reader's Theatre performance

and countless minutes of fun.

Stuck at home? Want something different to do?

Then watch Series 3, Episodes 1-12 and read along with us!

Local Feature

For our third and final series, we have the privilege to share an original children's story by local Calgarian authors,

Jena Rhydderch and Jocelyn Tochor!

"Faraway Families" is a book about staying connected with your friends and loved ones, even when they live far away and you can't see them as much as you'd like. This story was generously gifted to our third Read Along series by

Ms. Rhydderch and Ms. Tochor, and has been donated to Calgary Reads Little Red Reading House.

Do you want to make a donation?
